Long Beach Resort Cyprus is the perfect seaside holiday resort! Spend your nights sleeping to the calming sounds of the waves and in the morning, stroll along the golden beach or take a dip in the crystal blue waters then enjoy breakfast in the cool restaurant overlooking the sea. Experience the Mediterranean at its best. Long Beach Resort is a small complex of semi-detached bungalows and villas, situated right on the famous beach of Salamis Bay, one of Cyprus' most sensational and peaceful sandy beaches which stretch for miles along the Famagusta Bay. Not far down the beach you can find places like the Mediterranean Mini Market, luxury spa and casino and a very large Salamis Chinese Restaurant. Or marvel at carvings in the historical Salamis Ancient City. Both Larnaca and Ercan airport are about an hour away.
Famagusta lays in the Turkish Cypriot-administered portion of northern Cyprus on the island's east coast in a bay about 37 miles from Nicosia. Until the division of Cyprus in 1974, its neighboring Varosha was the most glamorous resort in the Mediterranean. The beautiful beaches of Famagusta and Varosha drew the rich and famous including those like Richard Burton and Brigitte Bardot. In the years that followed the area was deserted and the once a rich bustling resort of Varosha was fenced off by the military and is still a ghost town today.
